I'm Haley - a recent graduate ('20) in the midst of navigating a global pandemic. In college, I studied psychology and honed my researching, interviewing, writing, and peer-editing skills. As an undergraduate, I received competitive funding from my university to research the impact of dual-language immersion on young children's attitudes towards others. This research experience prompted me to pursue a TEFL certificate to teach English in South Korea after graduation. The pandemic changed my travel plans and now I'm working at Refugee Health...

Teaching Experience
I have experience teaching English to both children and adults. I received a 150-hour TEFL certificate with distinction this year and have about half a year of experience teaching ESL students remotely via Zoom 1 on 1. This position required the production of regular and personalized lesson plans for each student. I also currently work at an after-school tutoring center as a writing and reading instructor. I work with 3 students at a time in grades K-12.
