What is the difference between direct and indirect objects in Spanish?
A direct object receives direct action of a verb: Yo lo tengo. I have it. Direct objects in Spanish are me (me), te (you familiar) lo (him or it masculine), la (her or it feminiine), nos (us) , los (them masculine or mixed group) and las (feminine group). An indirect object receives action indirectly from the verb. I speak to him. Yo le hablo. Indirect objects in Spanish are me (me), te (you familiar) le (him, her or it), nos (us), les (them masculine, feminine or mixed group).
What is the difference between the passé composé and the imperfect tenses?
The passé composé is for verbs in the past that are specific points of time on a timeline. The imperfect tense is for verbs that demonstrate continuous or repeated actions in the past and do not fit a specific point of time on a timeline.
