I have taught in the academic environment both at the undergraduate level and the graduate level. Mostly focused on courses for teachers and Librarians. I have a strong background in Anthropology, History and recently I published a novel so am skilled in creative writing and English. I am a persistent researcher, patient and interactive with information seekers and experienced in answering reference questions. Provided management for two campus libraries and one partnered facility (budget three million dollars, 35 FTE staff, and collection size of 200,000 items, thousands of e-books and databases. Oversaw all areas of library service & facilities (approximately 93,000 NSF) actively participating in Reference and Library Instruction. Served as a member of the Educational Technology Services Executive Management Team for college-wide technology decision-making; represented the college in regional and national consortia.

As Director, I oversaw an active program of library services to a community of 93,000. Coordinated all operations for a multi-library system: Main Library, 3 branches, Outreach and Bookmobile Services. Advised Board of Trustees. Staff size: 58 individuals, Collection 190,000 items. Budget $1.1 million; Coordinate all programming, developed exhibits, (included two exhibit venues) media and community relations. Served a limited schedule on reference desk.
