When putting together a sentence how can we Identify the different parts of speech?
The subject of a sentence is represented by a noun or pronoun. The action taking place is represented by the verb.
When putting together an educational strategy there are a few components that one must look at before starting to write the curriculum. The first is bias and what stance of bias the person making the curriculum might have and might need to overcome. Sociology can help in understanding the different complexities of learning styles and how static norms in society may affect the ability of individuals to learn. What are some of the key concepts that one must address when trying to understand their own bias? How does one identify static norms in society and put together a curriculum that works within those norms?
Social norms arise out of a situation of consensus, therefore, establishing a parameter to build the curriculum on an understanding of these norms is necessary. To remove the bias of the reader, this reference will use a group of elves that live in the forest. On Tuesday and Wednesday, these elves go to the city to sell their goods. No instruction can take place on these days. The educational facility requires that all tests be given on Thursdays. To best build a curriculum an understanding of the social norm and requirements of these elves needs to be established. Because they have two days of downtime before the test the chances of them recalling the information for the test is unlikely. To overcome this it's important to put together a series of small tests allowing the brain to continuously be able to recall the information on the days they are in class. To make sure that complete inclusion is taking place these tests should be offered in visual, audio, and script formats. The grading rubric must be set up so that individuals that do not score high in all three of these will still be able to be given appropriate grades in the class.
In communication, several characteristics can be identified and enhanced. What are a few of these characteristics and how can they be enhanced? Why is it important to identify these characteristics?
What are a few of these characteristics and how can they be enhanced? The characteristics can be described by their categories or subcategories. “Self-Awareness” is when someone is able to identify the different components of their behaviors and responses to the world around them. Maslow's, “Hierarchy of Needs”, is often used to analyze an individual's current point. From the then established point “Self-Awareness” begins with “Self-Actualization” being the end goal. The emotion wheel is also a good tool to find one’s starting point along the path to “Self-Actualization” Adaptability and Empathy are skills that we all learn as children, however many will overlook them as an adult. It is important according to many, to make the understanding of these a path of lifelong learning. There are a few more characteristics of communication not listed here. Why is it important to identify these characteristics? As we learn for ourselves we are less open to the influence that might not be right for us. In communication, it is wise to know the person and the situational characteristics of the conversation. If we are talking to a child we would assume a softer stand on things. If we are talking to a commanding officer the characteristics of the communication will be all facts and short. This identification can help us to establish when and where to use each part of communication.
