Is a square a rectangle? Explain.
Yes. A square is a rectangle because by definition a rectangle must have 4 right angles, opposite sides congruent, and opposite sides parallel. A square HAS 4 right angles, and its opposite sides are congruent and parallel as well. Remember a rectangle is NOT a square though. :)
