About Louis

About Louis
I like to call myself a professional student. After graduating from college with a history degree, I earned two master's degrees, one in history and the other in creative writing (screenwriting). I also worked on a school newspaper, spending two semesters as the entertainment editor. In the years since, I have held research analyst and assistant positions with law firms, a background investigation company and a television series. Currently I am working on writing projects and can offer students the benefit of my years of writing experience.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I have not had classroom teaching experience but have worked as a tutor periodically in graduate school at the University of Tennessee, both in history and in writing. My editing skills have given me the chance to help students write and/or rewrite papers. Mt most recent experience has been close to home, helping my nephews with papers for their high school classes.
