Question:

Answer:

Answer:

Question:

In what circumstance would I say "I am walking the dog" and when would I choose to say "I walked the dog". What is the difference?

Answer:

When I state "I am walking the dog", I am using the present participle which suggests that I am currently doing it. When I use the past participle, I am suggesting that I already did whatever I am referring to which in this case would be that I have completed my task of walking the dog.
