Are there even different ways to study, does it really help with improvement?
I grew up in a world of school and there are absolutely different ways to study, just like there are different students. Both my parents being teachers I know every single study skill in the book and the most efficient ones. Every student is different, and I have the capability and special gift to adapt a students needs to the study skills they most likely need for any subject.
Why should you care if it doesn't apply to what you want to do in life?
Everybody needs basic math plain and simple. It isn't something like memorizing dates or climbing a rope in gym. Math is a life skill like opening a bank account or doing laundry. It applies to everything , balancing a check book, making a tip, budgeting your wedding, college, life, buying a new house, going shopping, doing your taxes. It is a necessary and relevant skill and it always will be.
Why is literature so pertinent to our society and why should our children care?
Children are engaged in a continuous process of learning about themselves and their world. As they mature, that world expands from the their home and parents to siblings to peers and, eventually, to people and places they know about but may never actually see. In order to function successfully in society, children must learn to relate and identify new situations and stories give them an outlet to do so beforehand. Literature is a rich journey that expands not only a person's vocabulary but their intelligence just in general. It's a tool but also a pleasure and can be forever explored
