Can you explain Normalization?

Uma Shankar P.
Answer:

Normalization is a design technique which is used to organizes database tables in a manner that reduces redundancy and dependency of data. Suppose you are creating a table in which you have a column City, Now you have to enter city name in each corresponding row, so you should create a new table tblCity and in main table you should use cityid instead of city name that will remove the redundancy.
