What is the best way to organiize an introduction in a five paragraph formatted essay?
Your introduction should briefly introduce your topic and thesis to the reader. You can provide some background information that you feel the reader will need to understand the topic at hand. This may include a brief explanation of the time period or setting. As well as a brief summary of the book, journal, or article if the essay is based on a publication. This should only take a few sentences, around 3 or 4. The rest of your introduction should focus on building up your thesis statement. You should introduce any publications or sources you are going to call upon for support. Next, summarize each of your three sub-theses, a sentence each, this will allow the reader to see the flow of your paper. Then finally, state your thesis statement. Remember a thesis, especially for a five-paragraph essay should be specific, contain a clear claim and the support for the claim.
What is the difference between sex and gender
Sex is defined via biological primary reproductive structures such as reproductive organs and hormones. Sex isn't as simple as male versus female or XX vs XY sex chromosomes because other karyotypes and combination of sex chromosomes exist that can cause different primary sexual features to develop, however, it is solely based on the individual's reproductive characteristics. Gender is performative. Gender and gender roles are attributes we ascribe to someone based on their sex. For example, a person with two XX chromosomes, a functioning vagina and uterus will be designated as female at birth. They will be taught to act like a girl and a woman via gender roles such as cooking, cleaning, wearing feminine clothing, sensitivity etc, . This is performing gender, the gender here being girl/woman. However, this performance doesn't come with their reproductive features. Their ability to reproduce isn't dependent on how they act.

The actin microfilaments primary function is to provide structure and cell morphology to allow for the cell to execute its function. Actin microfilaments also ai in cell movement and adhesion. Microtubules will aid in the organization of the cytoplasm and organelles. Intermediate Filaments primarily aid in keeping the cell's structural integrity and work in tandem with microtubules.
