Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
My most recent (and ongoing) teaching experience has been through my university's Pre-Health program. I am a Pre-Health Undergraduate Mentor, acting as a teacher and supporting role to younger students interested in pre-health careers. This is done through tutoring students with courses, helping develop course curriculums, and acting as a resource for questions on their pre-health career journey.

Work Experience

Work Experience
University of Hawai'i at Manoa, Pre-Health Undergraduate Mentor
2021 - Present
As a Pre-Health Undergraduate Mentor, I support younger undergraduate students interested in health fields by personally guiding them through their pre-health journey in a multitude of ways. This can be through assisting with course development, introducing pre-health clubs and organizations, finding other pre-health resources catered to their interest, and so on, while encouraging holistic growth of the student through application of my personal experiences.
John A. Burns School of Medicine, Research Assistant
2020 - Present
Currently working in the Nerurkar Lab at John A. Burns School of Medicine, under mentorship of Dr. Vivek Nerurkar, on multiple projects studying antibody development and immune response to SARS-CoV-2 vaccinations. I am also developing a novel multiplex luminex antibody assay to measure IgG levels in vaccinated subjects and to create a minimally invasive, accessible way to screen for immune response for community health.
University of Hawai'i at Manoa Student Housing, Resident Assistant
2019 - Present
Resident Assistants help lead and develop the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University. They provide mentorship, counseling, and security for the benefit and well being of the student residents. I am currently the Senior RA, where I oversee 75 students in their undergraduate studies, but also act as the main resource for new RAs and provide mentorship.
