Write an example of a thesis statement on the topic of immigration for an argumentative essay.
"United States residents who entered the country as children should immediately be instated as citizens." Why is this a great thesis statement? It can be argued. It is specific.

In George Saunders' story, "Fox 8," why are liberties taken with the writing gramatically?
"Fox 8" explores life through a very unique point of view: through a fox! The writing reflects the phonetic understanding of language through the view of a mammal who has never studied grammar. It makes the reader work a little harder for a good reason: to get you in the innocent mindset of an animal that has no need for human society and therefore does not deserve humans to destroy its home. These grammatical "errors" exist in writing that is still compelling emotionally, showing that an animal without knowledge of human systems still deserves dignity in life.

Find the error in this sentence: Sam, Molly, and I went to the store, where we find seven different kinds of chocolate.
"Find" should be past tense: found. The sentence was established as past tense because the three subjects "went" to the store.
