Question:

Does Java completely follow Object Oriented Programming rules?

Nishtha J.
Answer:

Three main reasons: 1. Primitive data types as objects (int, char, boolean etc.) 2. Keyword 'Static' : We don't create objects for static methods or variables as they are directly used with class name. 3. Wrapper classes (Eg. Integer, Character, Boolean etc.) : They allow conversion of primitive data types into objects and vice versa which violates the rules of OOP.

Question:

Is cancer fully curable?

Nishtha J.
Answer:

The answer is sadly, no. Cancer has been on this planet from the time of dinosaurs and the more we live on this planet, more are the chances of cancer being spread. Cancer is also evolving like we are. But extensive and complicated genetic studies have shown us the various causes of cancer, how to prevent it and early stage treatments for it. More than half of all the cancers are preventable, just by adopting a healthy lifestyle and getting indulged into bad habits like smoking, etc.

Question:

What are the steps involved in the concreting process, explain?

Nishtha J.
Answer:

1. Batching: Measurement of different materials is important and is the first step. This is also known as batching .It is done in one of the two ways: volume batching and weight batching. As the name goes, in case of volume batching the measurement is done in the form of volume whereas in the case of weight batching it is done by the weight. 2. Mixing:To make a good concrete, the mixing of materials found in step 1 should be done in two steps. Firstly, dry mixing should be done which is followed by wet mixing. Mixing can be done in two ways , hand mixing and Machine Mixing. 3. Transportation and placing: After the above mentioned processes are done, concrete is transported by placing on form works and should always be dropped close to final location. 4. Compaction: After placing the concrete it is inportant to check for trapped air bubbles inside concrete, because these air bubbles can reduce the strength of concrete by approximately 25-30% . To resolve this problem, compaction is performed in either of the two ways, by hand or by vibrators.
