Question:

When creating an assignment for a student with Dyslexia, how can you modify said assignment to increase the accessibility of the content?

Answer:

I would use Assistive Technology tools and techniques to help make the information more accessible. For example, I could use a screen reader which reads the information aloud to the student to reduce the processing times. Additionally, I could provide the student with a line reader highlighter tool, which can provide the student with an access point-a point in which they can begin to access the information through clearly highlighted areas of text.
