About Lucy
I study Materials Engineering and have had much experience working with children and teaching. I have a lot of music experience, and my hobbies include teaching myself piano and guitar, reading, origami, and calligraphy. I achieved A grades in my A levels and I'm predicted a 2:1 in my degree.

For this project, I researched and wrote a literature review, ran simulations using Python that helped me design the experiment, ordered materials, executed an experimental campaign, and performed Raman analysis on the subsequent samples. I consulted eminent...

I oversaw the running of four junior girls bunks (over 60 girls aged 6-10), and worked closely with the children and the bunk counsellors, as well as reporting to the senior staff with cares and concerns. I organized, planned and ran an Origami club in some of the free activity sessions, and I jointly ran an “outdoor cooking” club where we taught the children to make fun foods (for example, mini pizzas, brownies cooked inside...
