Question:

What person is most appropriate to write in when doing a research paper.

Answer:

When in doubt, it is best to write in the third person. In doing so, you should include words such as "I" or "you" as little as possible. Instead of saying, "I think that..." you could write something like, "It could be argued that..." Instead of saying, "In order to for you to split an atom..." It is better to write, "In order for one to split an atom..." The reason for not using "I" is readers of research papers are not usually looking for the author's opinion. They are looking for facts The reason for not using "you" is some people think that the reader may perceive this as unprofessional. This is not a set standard (unless you are required to write in the likes of APA or MLA format) and will vary depending on the instructor.

Answer:

Culture is everything that brings a group of individuals together that can be assessed by looking at the group's language, attitudes, beliefs, customs, rules, and expectations. This is a central question to sociologists as they need to know what defines culture in order to compare it to other cultures.

Question:

Why do individuals have different personalities?

Answer:

Personality differences are due to a combination of genetic and environmental variables that are difficult to assess. To best answer this question, you must examine each of the five widely recognized personality dimensions (Openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism) independently. When doing so you will see that these traits are usually about 40% inherited from parents and 60% due to the environment an individual is raised in. This is possibly the most widely asked question relating to the nature and nurture debate.
