Answer:

Although gender studies has become a fairly recent phenomenon, it has marked itself as an important outlier on the impact both social and cultural norms have had on the human species. Despite its simple ideology, gender itself has become a fascinating subject that is intertwined deeply within political and social circles. Cultural and social norms have had undeniable impact on how we view each other - but especially ourselves. It cannot be limited to just gender and biological studies, but instead encompasses history, curiosity, innovation, and more.

Answer:

Western culture, or western civilization, is defined as the heritage of social norms. Including belief systems, inculcating political views, and various technological advances, western culture has defined itself as a powerful player in both modern and past history. Because of the domination, this culture has applied itself beyond borders through a mass of various exposure techniques. This can be seen throughout history in terms of immigration, colonization, and strong influence.

Answer:

Anthropology, in short, refers to the scientific study of humanity. Spanning across several timelines and global boundaries, anthropology seeks to explain human behavior - its biology, cultures, and more. As a whole, it provides an in depth and detailed reasoning behind some of the most compelling stories of human history, giving more information on past and providing outlined details for the present. Commonly broken up into four categories, the branches include archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistics. Archaeology examines the past - including but not limited to artifacts, art, and the cultural significance of humans in a period of time before ours. Biological anthropology is the nature of work pertaining to evolution, especially how genetics have evolved. This can include studies of human nature and public health. Cultural anthropology encompasses the fascinating subject of societies, specifically how cultural rarities have blended into our common lives in the present. The last subject of anthropology, linguistics, works to define and study how language has separated humans from animals, presenting ever-evolving techniques in a field of both written expression and spoken speech.
