My favorite time of year is Autumn. I love seeing the different shades of orange and brown leaves falling from the trees. Also, the smell of the funnel cakes at our State Fair makes me smile. Hearing kids running home earlier due to the time change lets me know we are truly in a new season. The touch of my jacket on cooler days brings warmth and comfort. My mother bakes the best sweet potato pies on Thanksgiving that taste heavenly!
