Question:

What is the difference between the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence?

Austin C.
Answer:

These two papers have started to make this country to what it is today. First thing to know is the Declaration of Independence came first. This letter or papers was written to the King of England and was stating we want these rules to change or break away from England the rules they wanted removed were basically setting them up for breaking away so either way the King thought of it as a start of a cilvil war what at the end it actually was. After the period of the American Revolutionary War we created The Constitution this is the paper that made this country it listed the rules and how it should be ran. It goes over everything from the three branches to the separation of things such as the house and senate, states and federal, and the courts.
