The Cornell Method allows you to arrange your notes with easy to find keywords and questions, and a summary at the bottom of the page. This allows you to easily identify potential questions and vocabulary words, and to find notes on a particular topic by reviewing the summaries at the bottom of the page.

Keywords are search terms that you could use in any database. Subject headings are words that have been chosen and indexed in a database to provide targeted results about the topic. These words are often arranged in a hierarchy, as in a textbook index.
