I have extensive experience in tutoring as I prepared high school students for their ACT/SAT exams and served as a Learning Assistant for a Biology 101 course during my sophomore year. Additionally, I am an Honors Ambassador where I mentor underclassmen biology students in their introductory course and aid them in their respective summer research or pre-health programs to prepare them for their future careers.

I serve as an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Liesl Jeffers-Francis, Ph.D. in the Department of Biology. Her lab is interested in alternative treatments for antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. I had studied the effect of dual therapy on increasing the fitness cost of bacterial resistance using antibiotic susceptibility tests and I currently teach incoming undergraduate and graduate students common techniques in the lab.
