How did you get your job?
My motto is be annoying (in moderation). The only way I was able to enter into a lucrative career that usually requires a few years of related sales experience was by being persistent. I know the process of how to connect with employers, follow up, being personable, and interviewing well. I understand the art of "selling yourself," and I love helping others with this.
What are the three macronutrients in nutrition and what are the corresponding recommended percentages?
The three macronutrients are carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Carbs and protein contain 4 calories per gram. Fats contain 9 calories per gram. Carbohydrates should be 60-80% of an individual's daily caloric intake. Proteins should be 10-25%. Fats should be 20-35%. These numbers are variable due to an individual's activity level, thermic effect of food, and basal metabolic rate.
Describe the rotator cuff muscles in detail; including attachment and insertion points.
The rotator cuff muscles can be remembered through the acronym SITS. Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis. The supraspinatus attaches at the supraspinous fossa and inserts at the superior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus. The infraspinatus attaches at the infraspinatous fossa and inserts at the greater tubercle of the humerus. The teres minor originates at the lateral border and adjacent posterior surface of the scapula. It inserts at the greater tubercle of the humerus as well. Lastly, the subscapularis fills the subscapular fossa and attaches at the lesser tubercle.
