Question:

What can be theoretical yield of a reaction containing 2 mol of nitrogen and 3 mol H2 to form ammonia?

Bhaskar P.
Answer:

The theoretical yield will be 3 mol of ammonia. However we have 2 mol of nitrogen in which only one mole is consumed, that reagent is in excess. Whereas the hydrogen is completely consumed and hence acts like a limiting agent.

Answer:

I will first create a free body diagram and the subsequential steps shall be, balancing out the forces, along with the scenario that all the forces are mentioned. Then we reduce the equations to as much as possible and then we will solve it further to get the acceleration of the masses.
