Has an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn. Graduate work focuses on aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), but has experience in a wide range of aerospace related and non-aerospace engineering fields including quality engineering, polymer and fiber engineering, and computational methods. Enjoys studying "medieval" and pre-imperial Chinese history in his spare time, including poetry.
I have a fair amount of teaching experience, both through University programs and through independent work. University programs include working with local high school and middle school students to explore aerospace engineering, and general engineering topics, in fun, informative, and often hands on manners. Independent work includes working with the American Historical Association recognized online forum and organization, "AskHistorians", wherein I have worked to advance educational discussion of the history field.
