Why does the United States have a bicameral Legislature?
There are multiple reasons why the United States has a bicameral Legislature. One reason is so that both bodies of Congress can check and balance each other rather than the country rely on one single body to place its legislative power in. The other reason is that the founding fathers disagreed on how the legislative branch of government should be made up. This was to be the most important and powerful branch of the government at the federal level. Half of the framers believed representation should be equal for each state so that each state had the same influence and power in Congress. The other half believed that power should be divided based on the population of each state. This would mean that states with more people living in them would have more power in Congress since they represent more citizens. In the end, the framers agreed to a compromise that resulted in two separate bodies. The Senate would include two representatives from each state while the House of Representatives would determine its membership based on population. California has 2 senators but 53 members in the House while West Virginia also has 2 senators but only 3 members in the House. The population is much greater in California than in West Virginia.

Why was the United States involved in Vietnam and Korea?
After World War II, the spread of communism became the largest geopolitical threat to the US. President Truman started a policy of containment that asserted that America would get involved and aim to contain the spread of communism around the World. This was important because the government believed that if one nation fell to communism then surrounding nations would also fall under communist influence one at a time like dominos. This was called domino theory. Korea was the first major example and America got invloved to ideally keep Korea free from China's communist influence. In the end, the country was split in two forming modern-day North and South Korea. Vietnam was extremely similar to this. 5 separate Presidents led the US in Korea from Truman to Nixon.
What are the four sentence types and how should they be used?
The four types of sentences are declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. Declarative sentences should be used to make simple statements and end with a period such as "I have a dog." Interrogative sentences are used to ask a question and end with a question mark like "Do you have a dog?" Imperative sentences are commands and might end with a period or an exclamation point. "Order the pizza!" is a prime example. Exclamatory sentences show exclamation and express surprise. These sentences end with an exclamation mark and an example might be "We got a puppy for Christmas!"
