What are the socioecological influences on public works like sidewalks?
On the outermost level of the socioecological model, public policy can be evaluated. This includes governmental allocation of funding and space to build sidewalks in a community. The community level follows, dictating who is responsible for maintaining these sidewalks, including things like snow removal implemented by neighborhoods or community members. The organizational level evaluates the most effective route for students to walk to school and gives the opportunity to welcome programs like the walking school bus. This encourages more people to walk around the area the sidewalks exist. On an interpersonal level, relationships can be impacted by sidewalks. It encourages a friendly, social atmosphere to run errands, go to work, or have a safe place to get physical activity with a friend. Lastly, the interpersonal impacts include increased physical activity, increased cardiovascular health, and a more positive outlook for alternative modes of transportation. Overall, the impacts of more and better sidewalks and communities spread far and wide and are dictated by a number of influences. These multifaceted spheres of influence are pivotal at fully understanding cause and effect of health initiatives, programs, and policies.
How should I organize my argumentative paper?
You should begin with a compelling hook, really engaging the readers attention. At the end of your first paragraph, it should be evident that you are making an argument and that you are confident in your ability to answer a question. You may want to introduce the main points of your argument in brief in your introduction. Moving to the body of the paper, there should be paragraphs or sections that extrapolate upon those main points outlined in the first paragraph. These could include conclusions you have drawn from the text, evidence to support the points, and ensure that each of them connect to the overall themes and question of the essay. A rebuttal could be incorporated following several argumentative points, outlining a new perspective to the issue, but you want the reader to be reassured the argument you are making is the correct conclusion to draw. In the conclusion of your paper, address each of these points, making sure to tie them all together to reiterate the points you made in the introduction. It should be compelling, strong, and leave the reader feeling satisfied. Their questions about your topic should be answered by this point.

What are some examples of health disparities that impact women within the American healthcare system?
There are a number of ways our current systems which hinder women from receiving adequate medical care. Reproductive healthcare is frequently neglected, with limited opportunities to obtain birth control in many areas. This can be because of limited access to healthcare providers in the area or a lack of insurance coverage. Specifically for mothers who are giving birth, new issues arise with hyper-medicalization of the birthing process, encouraging an increasing number of women to receive cesarean sections. Though sometimes necessary in high risk, breech, or other complex deliveries, they are more frequently being used in situations that are not life threatening. It is an invasive surgical procedure, meaning that risk of complications increases over vaginal birthing techniques. This increases the chances of both maternal and child morbidity and mortality rates.
