I was born in Madrid, Spain, where I attended elementary school at Colegio Público Príncipe Felipe, in the Fuencarral-El Pardo District of Madrid. I graduated from Príncipe Felipe High School and entered Universidad Autónoma de Madrid to study the degree Licenciatura en Matemáticas in 2007. I entered Tennessee Technological University in August 2015 and received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Secondary Education Mathematics in May 2017. In July 2021, I graduated from the Exceptional Learning Ph.D.
