Question:

In Memory Design, will a single bit-line be enough for both read and write process in 6T SRAM?

Senikaanth K.
Answer:

In 6T SRAM, for a read process, a single bit-line will be enough but for a write process (especially for writing 1), while using single bit-line there will be a lesser voltage than the required voltage at the point of write. So an inverted bit line is required to precharge the point of write while writing 1.
