About Joseph

About Joseph
I graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in chemistry and a minor in math, then got my masters degree in chemical engineering at Purdue University. I have taken and am familiar with many types of math, from simple algebra and geometry to differential equations and linear algebra. I am currently employed with Eastman Chemical as a chemical engineer, and enjoy hiking, running, baking and playing with my dog Dug.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I have tutored students in the past. While at Hillsdale College, I was a teaching assistant, which involved teaching students the fundamentals of laboratory safety, as well as helping them understand the lab while in progress. I have also been a tutor, helping students mainly in math and chemistry, with a handful of physics and thermodynamics help.
