What do you need to include in your opinion writing piece?

When writing an opinion, or persuasive, writing piece, it is important to hook the reader and get them interested in the piece. It is important to consider who the audience is and write with them in mind. An opinion piece needs planned reasons and examples to fully support the opinion being stated. To conclude, the writing piece needs to include a conclusion that leaves the reader with a lasting thought.

What strategy did you use to solve this problem? What were your steps?

I used partial sums to solve the problem. I added the tens values together and the ones together. I then added these two sums together.

As you are going through school to be working in education, you will most likely be working with students. How will those students know that you care about them?

It is so crucial for students, no matter the age, to know that their teacher cares about them. It is important to tell students you care about them and show them. Being a listener and standing by what you say is critical. It is also important to show the students that you are a real person- not just a teacher.
