About Kirsten
I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2021 with a major in neuroscience and a minor in chemistry. Even though I have a strong background in STEM, I enjoy the humanities as well! I love reading and am proficient in Spanish.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I tutored in my high school’s writing center to help students improve their academic papers as well as their college essays. More recently in college, I volunteered as a CAN (College Action Network) advisor to edit inner-city children’s college applications and guide them in the application process in general. Moreover, in Dr. Mackey’s Changing Brain Lab, I administered post-tests to 4 to 6-year-old children on science knowledge questions which developed my redirecting skills.
