When a customer has a complaint, what is the very first step you take?
Besides apologizing for the issue at hand, get your supervisor or manager. They should have both the customer's and your back. They are also able to navigate a situation, and potentially alleviate the situation at hand.
Subject: Education
Describe a general lesson that incorporates 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D tiers of learning. Please include examples for all.
When teaching with a 1-D strategy, it is primarily written words or numerals on a white/chalk board. For example, when teaching vocabulary, the teacher can write out each word and the definition to fulfill this strategy (i.e. apple- a seeded round fruit that grows on a tree, with a stem, and comes in different colors). To make this vocabulary lesson 2-D, the teacher can draw an apple or have a picture of an apple printed out. This strategy allows for the learner to associate the word with an image/object. Finally, to make this lesson 3-D, an actual apple can be brought out. This lesson might even benefit from going in reverse order. To elaborate, the teacher will start by placing the apple on the table (2-D or 3-D) and having the students describe it, from there the teacher can ask the students to use their observations and/or their past knowledge to create a definition of an apple, which can then be written on the board.
