I graduated from Bates College with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Chemistry. I went on to get a Masters of Adolescent Education (with a concentration in Chemistry). During that time I taught High School Chemistry and Middle School General Science. I am currently in school again for a Psy. D in Clinical and School Psychology and an MBA.
I taught a year of High School Chemistry in NYC. Although there was an emphasis on preparing students for the Chemistry Regents exam, I included all topics most often covered in someone's first chemistry course. Further, I have taught middle school general science that included a wide variety of scientific concepts including: physics, ecology, weather systems, biology, scientific method, and human body systems. During college I was a T.A. for Chemistry 101, where I tutored students individually on both class and lab content.
