What is the difference between the greatest common factor and the least common multiple?
Multiples and factor are very easy to confuse. Factors are just two whole numbers that multiply together to be the given number. For example 2x7= 14, therefore 2 and 7 are factors of 14. Multiples occur when you multiply the given number by 1, 2, 3 so on and so forth. Multiples will never be smaller than the given number and factors will never be greater than the given number or product.
What kind of questions should I expect to see?
