Answer:

The correct answer is C. A and B are incorrect as we cannot use a comma since there is no conjunction. D is incorrect because a semicolon needs to have a full sentence presented.

Question:

Which experiences should I include on my resume?

Answer:

There are a number of important things to include on your resume! Generally, if you have room, and did something beneficial, it will almost always help to add it. However, many students have filled their resume. Your goal is to tailor it to what the specific college will want. If you are applying to business school, for instance, your emphasis should be on a finance club you may have joined. Alternatively, if you're applying to art school, focus on your actual portfolio!

Question:

What is the best way to go about the writing section of the ACT?

Answer:

Given the time constraint, your best bet is to devote the first 5-10 minutes to planning, and the rest to writing. Give yourself some space, and make an outline. Create themes, central ideas, break down your points by paragraph, and note any evidence you may use. From here, spend the rest of the time using the text and your outline to create a well made essay.
