Question:

If there are individual numbers in their own cells, and you want to find the total of these numbers, what function would you use and how would you do it?

Charlene C.
Answer:

The function you want to use is the 'Sum'. Steps: 1. Click on the Formulas tab at the top between page layout and data. 2. Use your mouse, click & hold on the 1st cell of numbers and drag your mouse to the last set of numbers. Unclick when you are on your last set of numbers. This will highlight all the cells you need to do the function. 3. In the gray toolbar, under the Formula tab, on the left-hand side, you will see a selection for 'AutoSum' with a sidewise M. 4. Click on the 'AutoSum' button, and instantly after all your selected cells, another number will appear. This number is the Sum or Total.

Question:

What is the difference between fiction and non-fiction? And which section would you find information about mermaids?

Charlene C.
Answer:

Fiction is a compilation of stories that are fake, made up, not true written by an author. Non-fiction books are informational books related to facts, events, people. Because we want to find information about mermaids, we would look in the non-fiction section.
