Graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) are responsible for assisting the instructor with laboratory/classroom lessons. GTAs also write and grade tests and quizzes as well as answer questions from students on content related to the course. GTAs are also responsible for preparing the classroom/lab for upcoming classes and are expected to be abundantly familiar with the material for that class session.
