I am a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist who works as a generalist bench tech at a community hospital while attending VCU for graduate work in Clinical Laboratory Sciences. I have been an adjunct faculty member and I have tutored (and still am tutoring) many students at different levels of their education. I have a great deal of both clinical and classroom experience and I am on track to teach at the college level. I am deeply passionate about raising up the new generation of Laboratory Scientists.
I have tutored students at every stage of their clinical lab sciences education in every area of specialization. I was adjunct faculty in Hematology for one semester while a professor was on maternity leave as well. My graduate focus is on Clinical Chemistry however my work experience is far broader: I have experience in Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Chemistry. I have also done graduate work in Molecular Diagnostics. I am comfortable teaching concepts of Microbiology and Immunohematology as well, but not as much experience in these...
