I live in New York City and went to Stuyvesant High School from 2012-2016. I am now an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University, planning on studying biology with a premed track.
Teaching Experience
I worked as a Teacher's Assistant during the summers of 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2015 and 2016, I was at the Scholastic Achievement Program where I worked with students form kindergarten up until high school, checking their class/home work and helping them with math, vocabulary, writing, and test prep. I worked as a TA at the summer program, mainly with second graders but occasionally with other grades as well. I grades classwork/ homework and quizzes, and also helped teach basic math and English to the students.

I worked as a volunteer in the Cardiothoracic ICU. There, I set up rooms, assisted nurses and PCTs with patients, and also acted as a correspondent between patients, family members, and the hospital staff.

I worked as a tour guide for visiting camp groups, taking them to the Halls of Biodiversity, Ocean Life, Saurischian, and Ornithischian Dinosaurs. I also worked on carts, located in many other halls of the museum and worked with other interns to explain various scientific and anthropological artifacts to visitors of all ages to the museum.
