Isolate the x variable by moving it to the other side of the equation. Then simplify. -16x+16x - 7 = -52 0x-7 = -52 0-7=--52 -7=-52 Step 4. Since the left side and the right side do not match. It is impossible that -7 = -52, we conclude that there is no solution to this problem.
