Given a String of an integer in java, how would you turn that String into an integer type? ex: String one = "1";
In order to do this, we would need to use the built in function from the Integer class and call Integer.parseInt(one) in order to retrieve an int type object of the variable "one".
Solve: $$ 2x^2 - 32 = 0 $$
In order to solve the above equation we can first divide each term by 2 in order to simplify the $$x^2$$ term. This leaves us with: $$ x^2 - 16 = 0$$ Thus, now we can express the above equation in the following form $$ (x - 4) (x + 4) = 0$$ We can now see that the above equation is easily solved with the values $$ x = 4, -4$$
