How do I get a good credit score?
(I am assuming they don't have credit at all and of course would ask there situation before answering) First you need to know yourself and your spending habits. Can you handle a credit card and treat it like a debit card? If so, I can help you apply for a credit card. Once you get approved, you need to follow the following rules over time and watch your credit grow. 1. Treat your card like cash and pay it off in full every month. 2. Do NOT open other cards until you can successfully use this card for a year. 3. After a year, open a second one and repeat the process. 4. Do not open more than 3 cards. Let's start with this for now and move on from there after you have established basic credit.
I need help with my thesis, can you take a look?
Of course, please send it over and I will be happy to give edits. (I got an A in my honors class where I needed to write a 40 page thesis. I did my own editing and didn't need help from the writing center. I love writing and am even writing a book on the side.)
I'm debating if I should join a business club or apply for an internship instead? What would be best to get a job? (My specialty for tutoring will be more general as in how to get a 4.0 in school, how to write a resume, and how to get a job. The reason is because I have worked most recently in recruiting and HR. If I am going to teach a specific subject I would need a refresher.)
The short answer is the more experience you can get, the better. I would make internships your priority and clubs second. I would recommend in your freshman year, narrowing down to 1 club that you can grow to become a leader in. I would focus your attention on this club during the school year and then start interning during the summer asap. This leadership and real world experience will set you a part from most students when it is time to apply for a real job. Furthermore, one of the companies you interned for will also most likely offer you a job.
