Answer:

Eventually, this will become second nature to you, but I first learned the "ser" principle with the acronym DOCTOR. That represents: Descriptions, Occupations, Characteristics, Time, Origin, and Relationships. The acronym for "estar" I used was LoCo. That stands for locations and conditions.

Question:

What is the difference between a list and an array list?

Inactive
Kyle A.
Answer:

An array list is not "strongly typed". That means that while you have to specify the data type for an list, and an array, you do not have to specify the data type for an array list. You could put any data type into an array list, however, because this is C# and not JavaScript, that is more complicated and it is recommended to either use a list or an array.

Subject: Accounting

Question:

Why does the accounting require the use of the allowance method of accounting for losses due to bad debts versus just the basic direct write-off method?

Answer:

It gives a better sense of expenses with revenues. In the case that a sale eventually became noncollectable, that bad debt would only be recognized the next year with a direct write-off method. However, using the allowance method, an estimation would be made so that the expenses of that period are better matched. This gives companies a clearer picture and prevents large, surprising changes in the future.
