TAFlab (Theoretical and Applied Fluid dynamics lab), Researcher
2015 - 2016
Worked as a researcher in TAFlab, which was located on UC Berkeley’s campus. Specifically, I worked on the Wave Carpet, which is a promising method to convert ocean wave energy on the sea bed into usable clean energy. The time I spent in the lab consisted of using LabVIEW to conduct experiments in the wave tank on many different scale models of the carpet, each with different modulus of elasticity. I also spent a large amount of time in the machine shop, using SolidWorks drawings, to fabricate the necessary parts for the experiments.
