I am currently an Investment Analyst at a pension fund. I grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee then went on to ring my cowbell at Mississippi State University. After Mississippi State, I spent a year in New Orleans, not a bad place to spend a year, while achieving my graduate degree.
My first tutoring experience was in high school with an English Second Language student. He and I had to work together to overcome the communication differences while he learned subjects such as biology and geometry. While at Mississippi State, I had the privilege of working with student athletes. I primarily specialized in accounting, finance, and management courses. Finally, during graduate school, I worked with a number of classmates without any financial background prepare for our accounting/corporate finance exams.
