Question:

How do I use two worksheets to find related values and return them in a new column?

Alexandra P.
Answer:

In order to match a value to their counterparts in another worksheet, you will use the VLOOKUP function. This is easy to think about when you put it into plain English. You are telling Excel, "I want to search for the value in cell A1 in the range of cells in Sheet 2 called columns A through B, and I want you to find the matching cell in the second column. I want you to find only an exact match." So, in formula format, this sentence would be: =VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A:B,2,FALSE).

Question:

What is the best place to start when working on an essay?

Alexandra P.
Answer:

Before you even get started with your paper, it's important that we work to define a clear thesis or hypothesis, depending on the type of work. Then, the next most important basis for your work is to create an outline so that your paper is organized and all of your points are clearly defined. Once this is done, writing your essay will be a breeze!

Question:

What is the theoretical basis for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy?

Alexandra P.
Answer:

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is based on the idea that our cognitions (thoughts) influence our feelings, which, in turn, affect our behaviors. Therapists using CBT believe that negative patterns in either of these domains will have an impact on the others, as they are all interrelated. The process of CBT involves engaging in education and activities that target these negative patterns and attempt to create changes in order to produce a more constructive process. It has been widely supported by research and is currently one of the most commonly used evidence-based practices.
