Question:

What is the best way for a business to back up their data?

Kimberly B.
Answer:

My answer to this would simply be " It depends". A number of variables have to be considered including a company's size, infrastructure, critical business applications and data availability requirements etc. Researching and comparing competing companies like EMC, NetApps, PureStorage, just to name a few, is a good starting point. These companies will often offer to a free evaluation and offer a range of solutions and pricing to fit the company's needs.

Question:

What would I need to do if I wanted to create an iPhone app?

Kimberly B.
Answer:

In order to create an iPhone app, you will need to buy, or have access to an Apple computer running the Mac OS X. You can also install the Mac OS X on a Virtual Machine or VM running on a Microsoft Windows machine. Next, you will need to download the latest version of Xcode from the Apple Developer Web site. Keep in mind that will you need to join the Apple IOS developer program to be able to distribute your apps through the Apple App store. There is a cost for this, but well worth it if you are serious about Apple product app development. Xcode does not absolutely require you to be a member of the Apple developer program and does allow manual code signing, but this is not considered a best practice.
