How should I get started in writing an essay?
The best advice I can give is a lesson I learned from a professor in college. Start with what I call a skeletal outline of an essay. Opening paragraph: Your opening paragraph should introduce your topics with facts and be concluded with your thesis statement as the last sentence of your opening paragraph. Example: Thesis Statement: Computer Science is a great major because graduates in Computer Science have high income, low unemployment, and great benefits. Body P 1: Computer Science is a great major because graduates in Computer Science have high income. Body P 2: Computer Science is a great major because graduates in Computer Science have low unemployment Body P 3: Computer Science is a great major because graduates in Computer Science receive great benefits Conclusion: Your conclusion should summarize the points you addressed in the body of your paper.
My test is over to much material. How can I do well on my test?
1.) Ask your teacher/professor what you should focus on. 2.) Memorize the key terms in each of the chapters. (I remember taking classes in college where I could not possibly read all of the material in time for the test. However, because I knew what each of the key terms meant, I was able to reason through each of the answers on the test and did well)
What is a target market?
A target market is the people who you aim to sell to. Example: A wedding photographer's target market could be "people who are engaged" A portrait photographer's target market could be "families who have children" An event photographer's target market could be "people who host beauty pageants" In marketing, you don't want to market to EVERYONE because you have limited time and resources. A wedding photographer would be better off marketing to people who are getting married or have an influence on the purchasing process.
