Subject: Pre-Algebra

Question:

How do you graph a y=mx+b equation?

Inactive
Kourtney C.
Answer:

Start with the y-intercept (b). The y-intercept is where the line will cross the y axis(the vertical axis). If b=2 then plot the point (0,2). To find another point find the slope. The slope of the line will be in front of the "x" in this case it is m. If m=3 then the slope will be up 3 over 1. Once the second point is plotted, up 3 blocks and over one block from the y-intercept you can use a ruler to connect the two point, extending the line past the two points will show where the line will continue to.

Question:

How can I edit someone into a group photo that was not there for the photo? How can I make it look believable?

Answer:

Use the pen tool to trace the person you want to add to the full photo. Once the person is completely traced right click and select "select opposite" to select the outside of the person, delete this. Bring the cut out person onto the full image of the group. Next you will need to crop the person to make them appear like they were behind or infant of other people. Do this by making them transparent and using the eraser tool to carefully erase the area of the person that would be behind their neighbor. After the person looks like then could be standing there you will need to adjust both the large photo levels and the levels of the inserted person to make the lighting look similar and believable.
