Answer:

The Growth-share matrix, also called the BCG Matrix, is a tool used by businesses to assess their product lines on the basis of relative market shares and growth rates. The chart consists of cash cows, stars, dogs, and question marks. Cash cows are when a company has a high relative market share and a low-growth rate (slow-growing industry.) Stars are a high market share and a high-growth rate (fast-growing industry.) Dogs are a low-market share and a low-growth rate. Finally, question marks are companies that have a low-market share, but have a high-growth rate.
